"Dance Dance Revolution? You mean the dancing game, right? That’s not really the sort of dancing I do. It’s dumb. I played it once. Plus, there’s nothing to it at all. You just step on the little light up panels, right?"
"I don’t care what song we do. They’ll all basically be the same, right? Plus, I don’t even know what songs they have." Saionji went ahead and stepped up onto the machine, making herself a bit taller.
"This is my side." She said standing on the little block in the middle. She pulled at her kimono, and stretched to test how far she could move her legs, if needed. "Since I bet you know all of the songs, choose one that doesn’t require too much jumping around, alright? I might trip."
Nanami scrolled casually through all of the songs. She’d played each one several times and perfected them, but she wanted to give Saionji a bit of a chance, so she chose one that was moderately easy, but still quite hard. That is, it shouldn’t be for the SHSL Classical Dancer, right?
Nanami, once choosing the song, hopped onto the other side and stood on her platform. “This one doesn’t have too much jumping, I think… It’ll be fun though, Saionji, don’t worry.” By now, a crowd was starting to form around them, whispers of excitement travelling into Nanami’s ears. Nanami was excited as well. She’d never quite played Dance Dance Revolution with someone as skilled as an actual professional dancer, and while Saionji didn’t actually have any experience with the game, Nanami hoped she’d be able to pick up the pace of it.
Before the round started, Nanami did a few light stretches, such as lunges and stuff, to make sure she was in tip top shape for the game. While it was a bit ridiculous looking, the super high school level gamer doing athletic stretches, it was also necessary to make sure she didn’t pull any muscles or anything. After her stretches, she stood up straight and glanced at Saionji. “Good luck, Saionji-san.”
The music started playing then, and Nanami got into her beginning stance, her absent and dazed look turning into one of pure focus and determination.
Saionji swiftly pulled up her kimono and tightened her obi. She might not have been able to tie it, but at least she could tighten it. She saw the little arrows appear on the screen-they were moving fast- and took a second to look them over before she’d have to actually do something.
Each arrow corresponded with a pad. It was hard to keep up with the arrows. Classical dancing didn’t usually call for moving so fast, but on the rare occasions that it did, Saionji was ready. She wasn’t exactly ready this time, but once she had slipped up at least three times, she knew what to expect.
She moved as fast as her short legs could carry her. Man, Nanami was totally cheating. She had practiced ahead of time, but not giving Saionji anytime to do the same. Saionji figured Nanami spent all her time with this dumb machine, just like all dumb nerds do. Nonetheless, she continued to dance, if stepping on weird panels in rapid succession was considered dancing.

All I ever want in my life is roleplay.
Would anybody like to roleplay a regular paragraph roleplay with me? If you do, make sure you properly know how, and are alright with paragraph roleplays. Also, I’m willing to plot and such. ((Question mark so i can put up answers because i dONT KNOW HOW))?
OCs and AU versions are welcome~ Any fandom by the way
